TokSearch is a Chrome extension that helps you search your own saved TikTok videos, entirely on your device. By installing or using it, you agree to these terms.
TokSearch is a browser extension that builds a private, on-device index of the TikTok videos you have saved/favorited, so you can search them by caption, creator, or spoken words. It runs locally in your browser. It has no account, no server, and no cloud component. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored and where.
TokSearch reads content from the TikTok page you already have open and are logged into; it is a personal retrieval tool, not a scraping service.
TokSearch is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" is a trademark of its respective owner. TokSearch depends on TikTok's website, which may change at any time; features may break as a result and are provided without guarantee of continued function.
TokSearch is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will capture or index every saved video. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use TokSearch. Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for your own backups (you can export your library from within the extension).
TokSearch is currently in early access. As the product grows, some advanced features may become paid; if so, that will be made clear before you buy, and these terms will be updated. Any "tip" or "buy me a beer" support is entirely voluntary: it does not purchase a licence, unlock features, or guarantee support or future updates. Optional tips are processed by PayPal under PayPal's own terms and privacy policy; TokSearch never receives or stores your payment details.
Sending feedback is entirely optional. When you submit the feedback form, your message is sent directly to the maker (either to our feedback inbox or, as a fallback, through your own email client) and may be used to improve TokSearch, with no obligation to act on it. Please don't send passwords, payment details, or sensitive information.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest version, posted at this same URL. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
